How to distinguish the quality of iron wire

Galvanized iron wire is made of high-quality low-carbon steel wire rod. It is made of high-quality low-carbon steel through drawing, pickling, high-temperature annealing, hot-dip galvanizing, cooling and other processes. Products are widely used in construction, handicrafts, preparation of wire mesh, production of galvanized hook net, plaster net, highway fence, product packaging and daily civil and other fields. First of all, the surface coating of good quality galvanized wire is continuous and smooth, and there shall be no sagging, slag or dripping when the plating parts are installed and combined, and there shall be no iron exposure and other defects on the surface. For good quality galvanized wire, the coating must be uniform. It must be soaked in copper sulfate solution for five times without iron exposure. No protrusion or falling off in the hammering test. This is what a good galvanized wire should have.It is also divided into hot-dip galvanized wire and cold-dip galvanized wire (galvanized wire) Hot dip galvanizing is also called hot dip galvanizing and hot dip galvanizing: it is an effective metal anti-corrosion method, which is mainly used in metal structure facilities of various industries. It is to immerse the steel parts after rust removal into the molten zinc at about 500 ℃ to make the surface of steel members adhere zinc layer, so as to achieve the purpose of anti-corrosion. The coating is thick but uneven. The minimum thickness allowed by the market is 45 μ m, and the maximum thickness can be more than 300 μ M. The color is dark, consumes more zinc metal, forms infiltration layer with base metal, and has good corrosion resistance. Hot dip galvanizing in outdoor environment can keep for decades. Cold galvanizing (electro galvanizing) is to make zinc gradually plated on the metal surface through unidirectional current in the electroplating bath. The production speed is slow, the coating is uniform, the thickness is thin, usually only 3-15 microns, the appearance is bright, the corrosion resistance is poor, and it will rust in a few months. Compared with hot dip galvanizing, the production cost of electro galvanizing is lower.
